My New Home

I have heard that Friday the 13th is unlucky for some, but I'm not so sure. Today some humans came and took me away from everything that I knew. I was not happy and I cried because I missed my home.

I was taken to a very strange house, with another dog that is much bigger than I am. There is also some other strange animals there. I don't think they are like me because they smell different and they speak a different language. One of them was saying Meow. I'm don't know what that means yet, but he watches every move I make, and sits up high on some shelves. The other meowing creature spends it's time asleep. I would like to snuggle up to it but it smells funny.

These new humans gave me food and water, but I was a little bit sick from travelling so far. I was a little bit scared so I found a nice dark place to hide, hoping that when I wake, I might be back in my old home.

I had a bad dream and woke up with a jump. Oh dear, I'm still here in this strange house, and I'm not sure what to do. My new human is very nice though. She keeps saying the word Kerry and I can't understand what it means yet. She allowed me to sleep close to her, so that I could feel her breathing and hear her heart beating. It's not the same as my old house but I have started to feel safe.
